Vacancy: Production Staff for PhotoIreland’s International Centre for the Image
PhotoIreland is seeking individuals to join the production team dedicated to installing an exhibition at the International Centre for the Image.
This is a three-week position for the following dates:
- 5-9 January 2026
- 12-16 January 2026
- 19-23 January 2026
Candidates will be required to work for the whole week. While we prefer to work with the same team each week, we are open to hiring those who commit to any or all of the weeks listed above.
Location
The work will take place at PhotoIreland’s venue, the International Centre for the Image in North Docklands, Dublin 1.
Basic Details
- This is a fixed-term contract for 1, 2, or 3 weeks.
- Each shift is 8 hours, including a 1-hour lunch break
- Deadline for applications is 6pm 21st December 2025.
- The position will start on 5th January 2026.
- Fixed day rate is €175 (incl. VAT)
- The project fee is paid via EFT at the end of each week upon receipt of an invoice.
Main Duties
- The candidates sought for this position are expected to be reliable, experienced technicians or stagehands, capable of working on their own initiative as well as collaboratively with the team.
- The candidates are expected to have excellent timekeeping skills and the ability to prioritise and organise tasks.
- The work involved in the production and installation of exhibitions ranges from moving materials to assisting in building structures, hanging and installing artworks and AV equipment, clearing spaces, and other general manual tasks.
- The candidates must have experience and knowledge of using basic tools and materials.
