Ten years on, the iconic photograph of a young couple at the back of the bus still resonates. Featuring previously unpublished photographs, Daragh Soden’s Young Dubliners book is introduced by award winning Irish author Colin Barrett. Join us at 1.30pm on Saturday June 15th at The Library Project to celebrate its launch.
Self published by Soden, the book is section-sewn and case bound with cloth cover and foil blocking, featuring 38 colour photographs over 84 pages, printed to the highest standard on Garda Premium Natural paper in Italy.
In a fitting tribute to the first exhibition of Young Dubliners at PhotoIreland Festival in 2016, The Library Project walls will be filled with prints from the series. With suitable refreshments of TK red lemonade and Tayto crisps, and special treats by bonannatite, we would like to invite you to a book signing and print display show opening from 1.30pm to 4pm.
Pre-order the book now at daraghsoden.com
Pre-sale orders will be available to collect on the day (and there after) and books and a number of limited edition prints will be available at reduced launch-day prices. Each pre-sale book collected on the day and each book purchased on the day will come with a raffle ticket for a limited edition Young Dubliners print.
No booking necessary and all welcome!
