‘A Bower For Sisters’ will be launched in The Library Project at 6pm on the 9th of December 2015. The launch will include a pop-up exhibition of the work and a special guest speaker on the night. Further details to be announced soon.
In ‘A Bower for Sisters’ Aisling O’ Rourke sensitively documents the final few months of Our Lady’s Bower Boarding School and Convent in Athlone, County Westmeath, in the Republic of Ireland, before it closed its doors in June 2014.
