Widely recognised as a fabulously designed and immaculately researched design and crafts biannual, it is an indispensable resource for all those who want backstage information about the life of things. With each issue based around a single object, MacGuffin magazine is a platform for fans of inspiring, personal, unexpected, highly familiar or utterly disregarded things.
Its founders, editors-in-chief and art director Kirsten Algera & Ernst van der Hoeven will join Michael McDermott, director of the Liberties Festival and former editor of Totally Dublin to discuss its evolution and how they have crafted the art of compelling storytelling to encompass objects such as the ball, the sink and the log.
This event is in collaboration with the Irish Architecture Foundation at the IAF’s venue at Charlemont Walk, Dublin 2, and the Library Project.
