The Critical Academy returns in 2022 with a series of Think Tanks as part of PhotoIreland Festival. In the context of the History and Practice of Photography in Ireland, a series of Think Tanks are being programmed, including:

On Histories I and II
– Photography, Partition and After: Photographies and Histories of Ireland in the short 20th Century.
– On the History and Practice of Contemporary Photography in Ireland 1990-2022

On Empathy
– Photography: An Empathetic Gesture?
