Keep us informed of your practice and upcoming projects.
PhotoIreland strives to stay on top of contemporary photography and arts practices in Ireland and abroad, but we need you to help us know what you’re up to. We are looking for Irish and international practitioners, established and emerging. So whether you’re a photographer, visual artist, or a curator, send us a line and some images to inform us of your practice or current and upcoming projects. We will review and keep your work in mind for when we are considering artists and curators for various projects, exhibitions, publishing projects, and other calls for work.
We cannot respond to everyone, so we will be in touch if we have something specific to propose or discuss, and we will never use your information or images without discussing it with you first. There are no strict guidelines or an application process, just send us an email to news@photoireland.org. You can expect an email confirming we received it and we will be in touch if an opportunity comes up.
In the context of the Critical Academy, PhotoIreland is conducting long-term research on Photography in Ireland and one of these projects is the PhotoIreland Wiki, which is facilitating the collection of historical data relating to the practice of Photography in Ireland for future analysis. This means you have an online platform enabling you to stand and be counted. Currently, you are able to create a profile page in this Wiki site, and list your career milestones.
