The company is currently in the process of becoming a charity, and the members who will become trustees are:
Fiona Hackett, Anne James, David Kronn, and Marcos Zubrzycki.
Fiona Hackett is an artist, academic tutor, and researcher based in Dublin. She holds a PhD in Photography from the UCD Clinton Institute of American Studies, University College, Dublin – completed with a scholarship funded by the Irish Research Council. As an artist, she has exhibited in the DLR Lexicon, Royal Hibernian Academy, Ormeau Baths Gallery, Mermaid Arts Centre, and as part of EV+A International, among others, and she is the recipient of the Progressive Vision Curtin O’Donoghue Photography Award, RHA 189th Exhibition. She teaches theory and practice at a leading third-level institute, and she carries out research on photography and geological science, and others subjects. Various project-based consulting assignments, in particular in the areas of executive career coaching and development, change management and people development. She has also a background as an organisational psychologist.
Anne James is a Dublin-based publisher, digital marketing consultant and artist of Portuguese and American nationality. She has edited and solicited work for Ploughshares and St. Petersburg Review and in 2012 she founded Zymbol, an internationally-distributed magazine of contemporary literature, photography and painting. She served on the board of New England Poetry Club at Harvard University from 2012-2016, and volunteers as a fundraising consultant to Threshold, Ireland’s national housing charity. In her marketing career, she has worked with both well-known Irish firms and high-growth startups, including Arthur Cox, Fields the Jeweller, UrbanVolt and Boxever. She holds a degree in cultural anthropology from Boston University (2009) and completed her master’s in visual and material culture at the University of Edinburgh (2011). An avid collector of photography, paintings, monographs and art ephemera, she recently began practicing professionally as an artist. She is currently researching the relationship between painting, photography and the attention economy in the Art and Research Collaboration (ARC) programme at Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design & Technology (IADT).
Aisling is a practising solicitor who specialises in technology, corporate governance, and media and entertainment law. Aisling holds an honours BCL (International) degree from UCD, Dublin and began her career at Arthur Cox LLP as a solicitor specialising in commercial contracts, commercial real estate and finance. Aisling left private practice to join Irish start-up company, eShopWorld, where she held the position of Associate General Counsel, advising on key commercial deals and navigating the eCommerce space. Aisling now works as international Senior Counsel with Squarespace. At Squarespace, Aisling merges her legal expertise with her love for the arts, advising Squarespace on key advertising and marketing promotions (most notably their 2020 & 2021 Super Bowl campaigns!). Aisling is experienced in corporate governance and is the company secretary for Squarespace Australia PTY Limited and sits on the board of directors of Cairde, a charitable organisation based in Dublin.
Dr David Kronn is an Irish-born paediatrician with a specialty in medical genetics, who lives and works in New York. Dr Kronn has built an extraordinary photography collection over the past twenty years, which is a promised gift to the Irish Museum of Modern Art to be enjoyed by the Irish public into the future. The overall donation substantially increases IMMA’s photographic holdings and provide an historical, contextual and expanding framework essential for the understanding and appreciation of modern and contemporary photography.
Marcos is a certified public accountant dedicated to the asset and wealth management industry. Marcos joined PwC in 1999, and has worked in the New York, Boston, and Puerto Rico offices during his 20+ years career. He served as an Employee Benefits Plans Specialist from 2005 to 2014 and has participated in internal quality control audits in Latin America, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia over the last 10 years. Marcos joined the PwC Ireland Asset and Wealth Management team in January 2015 and currently co-leads the PwC Ireland Global Fund Distribution Services group. Marcos is a member of the Irish Funds Other-EU Fund Distribution working group and is a member of the Diversity and Inclusion Council of PwC Ireland. Marcos was born in Montreal, grew up in Puerto Rico, and has a bachelor’s degree in both accounting and history from Boston College and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Massachusetts, Boston. As an amateur photographer, Marcos is interested in documenting the ever-changing face of Dublin as a culturally diverse city and international economic hub.
