On the 25th October, we celebrated the launch of not one but two issues of OVER Journal: issue 4 and a special FUTURES edition issue 5.
OVER Journal issue 4 continues to foster critical conversations around contemporary photographic practices. With contributions from artists and writers spanning six continents, the issue explores themes around representation and the evolving role of the image in shaping history and identity, articulating new representations that challenge historical legacies.
OVER Journal issue 5 presents a collaborative editorial project devised by four member organisations of FUTURES, the European Photography Platform, around the theme of Metamorphosis. For this special issue, OVER Journal invited 3 guest editors from the platform to tap into the FUTURES network as well as their own.
All new and past issues are available at overjournal.org and shipped internationally.
