The Drift/Parallax is a triptych of publications based on the stars Arcturus, Rigel, and Vega. This series uses image and text to consider constructs of masculinity and how they intersect with sexualities, queer working-class identity, and remnants of memory enlarged into cosmic scale. Hauntology, psychogeography, depression, the presence of absence in portraiture, astronomy and personal archives inform this series.

You can now pick up A Young Person's Guide to the Exhibition in the main Images Are All We Have exhibition of the festival or check out the online PDF version!
This exhibition guide was made in consultation with a group of young people, who are alumni of The Ark’s Children’s Council. Over the past few months and as part of their Photo Club, they have met up and looked at photographs and discussed what exactly is going on with contemporary photography in Ireland. Together, they designed this guide to the exhibition so that they can help other young people, and their families, learn a little bit more about photography, maybe this will help them look at the photographs in a new way. They don’t think that hard subjects should just be left for the grown-ups!
The participants in Photo Club were: Thomas, Kaelan, Aoileann, Manus, Rua, Ke Qiao, Zoë, Meabh, Emeraude, and Hugo. This project was facilitated by Róisín White.
You can pick up a free print copy at the exhibition venue of The Printworks or order a copy through The Library Project (free, just pay postage).
