Presented by Basic Space Dublin and The Library Project, On Belonging is a collaborative group exhibition guest curated by Diana Bamimeke. Running until 27 June, it presents new and existing work by Bassam Al-Sabah, Moran Been-noon, Oscar Fouz Lopez, Maïa Nunes, Salvatore of Lucan and Osaro. Each of the exhibiting artists have been invited to respond not only to the state of belonging — how it is conceived and made physical — but conversely, to not-belonging, and the outcomes of both in the modern world. You can read more about the show here and at The Library Project, but also, you can now join the free lunchtime outdoor Art Walk organised by Temple Bar Gallery + Studios! Scheduled for 2pm Tuesday 22 June, the walk will introduce three contemporary art exhibitions in Temple Bar. Join us at Temple Bar Gallery + Studios to meet their Programme Curator Michael Hill for an introduction to the current exhibition Agitation Co-op. We will then move to The Library Project where Curator Diana Bamimeke will introduce On Belonging. Finishing with a short walk to Project Arts Centre for an introduction to LUMINOUS VOID: Twenty Years of Experimental Film Society.
