The participation of public and private galleries is crucial for the success of the PhotoIreland Festival. We have been approached already by a number of local and International curators, who would like to participate in the Festival. We are looking for curators with an specific interest in Photography, who can put forward projects of great quality and cultural value that challenge established notions around the Photographic message. Authors, Writers and Researchers

We are interested in learning from authors, writers and researcherswhose articles, essays, and written theory is based around Photography, Visual Culture and Critical Studies. The Festival wants to promote an open discussion around these areas, focusing on specific subjects and highlighting the work of local and international thinkers that are pushing the boundaries of our understanding around the photographic image.
